In 2003 Governor Perdue announced his plan to make Georgia the best-managed state in the nation and a leader in principle centered, results driven and customer focused government management.

Becoming faster, friendlier and easier is a monumental task for any organization and it would not be possible without the efforts of the thousands of dedicated public servants who make up Georgia state government.  We come from different backgrounds but we have one collective goal: to leave Georgia a better place than we found it.  We want future generations to look back on our work with
