Salary Details: Salary is offered based on Education, Experience and/or Budget
Duties & Responsibilities: Plans, directs, and coordinates human resource management and/or human resource development activities for the DeKalb County Board of Health to maximize the strategic use of human resources. Maintains functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, policy development, and regulatory compliance. Oversees the development and implementation of personnel policies. Provides leadership to subordinate managers and staff.
Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelorís degree in a related field AND Five years of management human resource experience.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with at least seven (7) to ten (10) years of recent Human Resource Management experience. Experience in local county or state government Human Resources department is preferred.
Additional Information: NOTE: Employment with the DeKalb County Board of Health is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements. If this position requires a college degree and you are selected for an interview, you will be required to submit official transcripts to the Human Resources Department prior to any official offer of employment.
