Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate Outpatient clinic scheduling with BHL. Convert BHL scheduled appointments into Highland Irver scheduler daily for the proceeding day's appointments. Monitor, track and report agency compliance with contract requirements regarding scheduling. Schedules hospital release appointments for State facilities, private hospitals, CSU, out of state facilities/hospitals, jail/detention centers.complete intial contract for persons requesting services and screens for initial program eligiblity. Demonstrates the ability to quickly triage, manage and direct or refer all calls. Provide a warm line support and crisis intervention to handle urgent matters. Utilize the provider manual guidelines to refer to services. Refers consumers to authorized providers and offers consumers a choice of providers when available.
Minimum Training & Experience: Two years related experience OR Associate degree OR One year at the lower level or position equivalent (GSS051) Note: Some positions may require an examination
Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications: Three years experience in a medical office. Experience managing a scheduler in a medical setting. Experience with BHL scheduling.
