Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Full-Time Enrollment Assistant in the Academic and Student Affairs Division, Enrollment Services department. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s Main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.
Under general supervision of the Dean of Enrollment Services, the Full-Time Enrollment Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and student support throughout the enrollment process and contributes to a welcoming, efficient experience for prospective and current students. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to providing excellent service to students, families, faculty and staff. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and quick learner with a continual desire and capability to learn and work in a high-energy and fast growing workplace.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Support the day-to-day enrollment and student service operations of the department.
- Assist prospective and current students with the admissions and enrollment process, including applications, required documents, forms, registration, deadlines, and general enrollment questions.
- Review and enter student information into the college’s student information system (BANNER) and other platforms, ensuring records are accurate and complete.
- Review student records for missing or incomplete information and follow up with students as needed to support timely enrollment.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding admissions, registration, academic records, enrollment requirements, and related student services.
- Provide general information regarding college programs, admissions requirements, registration procedures, and enrollment deadlines.
- Maintain student and enrollment records with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Perform data entry, document processing, scanning, filing, correspondence, and other administrative functions using BANNER and other college systems.
- Maintain current knowledge of college admissions regulations, policies, procedures, and enrollment processes.
- Identify student needs and refer students to appropriate campus departments and resources when additional assistance is needed.
- Assist with special projects, enrollment activities; and
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess and demonstrate a High school diploma or equivalent AND Six (6) months of related work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference may be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate the following:
- Associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university AND One (1) year of related work experience.
- Three (3) or more years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of FERPA guidelines with the ability to explain them to others.
- Experience in the use of a Student Information System (preferably BANNER) to successfully deliver registration services and maintain student records.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (most importantly, Excel) and other computer software/databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy are a must.
