Job Description:

The Supply Specialist and Building Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the ordering, storing, receiving, and distributing processes of CFMO Maintenance Division products and supplies. They will also maintain key control, works
closely with safety, building communications and coordinating small projects in CFMO buildings working with the Project Manager and all stakeholders.


Typical Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintains, sources, and orders stock in supply warehouses;
  • Responsible for checking out tools, equipment, and temporary cooling units;
  • Assists maintenance engineers with fulfilling supply requests;
  • Maintains and updates state and military property hand receipts;
  • Assists with inputting and closing out work orders;
  • Building coordinator for all CFMO held buildings;
  • Performs other duties assigned by CFMO Maintenance;
  • Works with safety department and is responsible for closing rack items in CFMO buildings;
  • Maintains equipment training records and training staff on equipment such as the forklifts and manlifts.
  • Coordinates all equipment maintenance and keeps up with logs for safety.
  • Backup maintenance engineer for Joint Force Headquarters.

Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to those qualified applicants who possess the following skills:

  • Forklift certification;
  • Two (2) – Three (3) years experience in building repairs and maintenance.
  • Knowledge and work experience with State of Georgia Purchasing Guidelines.
  • Basic Purchasing Certification.

Additional information:


The selected applicant must meet the following standards:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED;
  • Possess a valid drivers' license.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug-test and will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check, which includes a Georgia criminal history, as well as a post-hire federal background investigation.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in business or accounting and one (1) year of job-related experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management; or High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management; or One (1) year of experience at the lower level Purchasing Agent 1 (FET040) or equivalent position.
